The Pines grew into one of the largest hotels in the area which included 400 guest rooms. The talk of the Pines was its one-of-kind outdoor pool shaped like a whale, with a bridge spanning over the pool that connected the cabanas on one side of the pool to the rooftop bar and “Bamboo Room” on the other side.
